The latest Arkham Knight trailer reveals a new gameplay mechanic for the series called “Dual Play”. Player can switch between Batman Nightwing, Catwoman and Robin, chaining combos and delivering the pain to the most retched citizens of Gotham. I love new hardware! The only thing I love more than new hardware is improvements to new hardware. Through I have no doubt that the Apple Watch, through developers and OS updates with prove a most useful tool, as a notification and fitness tracking device, it doesn’t offer any compelling reasons to jump in at this point. I’ll wait until the 2.0 version comes out a year or so from now.
BLOPS III’s latest teaser gives us a look at where the series is headed as far as conflict. If I had to guess, the proliferation of “modified” humans and the resulting paranoia and social strife will cause some tragically affected individual to take up arms against the normal humans. Or an authritarian United States will unleash the mind controlled enhanced soldiers upon freedom loving citizens. Whatever it is, I just want to camp and shoot my noob-tube into a chokepoint.
Update: Rockstar release a video giving us a look at the PC Exclusive Rockstar Editor mode. Perfect for Machinima and stunt reels. Damn you @Rockstar…
I look and the photo above and it just makes me cry. I want to cry for two reasons. One, I want to cry because it represents what happens when art, science, design and technology come together to create digital beauty; truly “art in motion”. And two, I want to cry is because I already purchased this game twice, versions of which span both this and last generation of consoles.
That being said, the PC looks amazing. Full 60 Frames per second, 4K (and beyond) resolution, video capture mode as well as new cars, weapons and modes. You can preload the game now on Steam ahead of the April 14th release.
